Proposed in 2013, the “Belt and Road” Initiative has received positive response and support from over 100 countries and international organizations over the past 4 years. Shanghai, as the economic center of China, is well located in the key position of the “Belt and Road” route. She has given birth to China’s first Free Trade Zone and taken on great responsibilities to promote China’s economic development by pushing forward the “Belt and Road” Initiative.

CCPIT Shanghai and CCOIC Shanghai actively act upon the “Belt and Road” Initiative by translating favorable policies into concrete projects. By now, we have attained extensive support from over 20 commerce and trade organizations in different countries and regions, as well as endorsement from Shanghai Municipal Government authorities, especially Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce.
